JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Crew Lead Hand
Department: Siding Installations
Reports to: Bob Ralph: Supervisor/Sales or Daniel Lethbridge: Co-Owner/Sales

JOB PURPOSE
As a Siding Crew Lead Hand you will be responsible for your siding helpers on the job site, any necessary communication required for attendance purposes, and leading/directing the helpers as necessary throughout the day to complete the job.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Messaging crew helpers if they wont be working due to weather and then communicate that to supervisor/manager.
- Go over paperwork with sales person for the job if anything needs clarification.
- Prepare and load up all material in the truck and trailer indicated on the paperwork that is necessary for job completion.
- Picking up any material from our suppliers around town.
- Getting crew to the job site in a timely manner.
- Follow directions as given by sales associate.
- Direct siding helpers on the job site.
- Communicate any issues presented during the job to the sales associate if not sure how to handle the situation.
- Be able to communicate professionally and effectively with customers as needed/directed.
- Finishing jobs fully and completely to your best effort.
As well as assist periodically with special projects as required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience is required and will be paid accordingly.
- Good knowledge of Power Tools is required.
- Must have steel toe boots and necessary hand tools (tool belt, hammer, knife, etc.).
- Knowledge of Job Site Safety – Working at Heights Certificate is an asset (we will pay and set up any training that is required).
- Excellent verbal communication skills to provide other employees and customers with a good understanding of the situation or need.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- The hours for this position are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Some overtime may be required to complete jobs.
- Hours also dependant on weather (refer to Inclement Weather Policy).
- Personal protective equipment must be worn at all times.
- This job requires frequent heavy lifting, minimum needs to be able to lift 50-75lbs.

The incumbent must maintain the confidentiality of all company and customer information and must not discuss such matters outside of Home Siding Shop Inc. Tact and discretion must be used in all dealings with all customers and potential customers to maintain a positive image of Home Siding Shop Inc.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
