Site Supervisor

Site Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Trades; schedule and plan in accordance with closing date timelines

• Walk the homes! Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.

• Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.

• Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.

• Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.

• Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.

• Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance. Maintaining an accurate record of covid screening and homes visited per day.

• Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.

• Communicate scope of work to supervisor, review production, quality and contract compliance and ensure implementation.

• Quantify and track all materials required for each project ensuring no overruns.

• Analyzing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.

• Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.

• Correspond with Project Mangers regarding all contract discrepancies or adjustments required, ensuring speciality materials are ordered in advance in order to meet deadlines.

• Correspond with After Sales regarding all deficiencies, outstanding work orders, and final inspections (PDI).

• Submit daily log/progress report to head office by EOD.

Site Supervisor Qualifications:

• Current WHMIS, First Aid and Fall Protection Certificates

• Ability to read and understanding drawings/specification and have knowledge of GTA and/or southern Ontario municipality standards

• Excellent organizational and planning skills, ability to manage multiple projects

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and schedules while maintaining safety and profitability

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Office, google drive, Builderlynx (training provided)

• Ability to work with minimum supervision

• Work within project framework and adhere to all Company guidelines and policies

• Demonstrates leadership skills

• Previous site super experience is required

Job Type: Full-time
