Seeking a freelance Content Creator position for Little River Co. As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for producing engaging and entertaining videos on TikTok and Instagram Reels to promote our merchandise related to anime.
The ideal candidate is familiar with and passionate about ANIME!
Salary & Job Benefits:
- Hourly salary of $18, with the opportunity to earn additional bonuses of $30 for every 100,000 views on a video within a 7-day period from its posting.
- Flexible working hours with a requirement of 15 hours per week, subject to discussion based on workload and expectations.
Key Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Create 5-7 TikTok videos and 3-4 Instagram Reels per week (with repurposed content), showcasing our merchandise and generating interest among the target audience.
- Participate in virtual or in-person meetings once a week (1 hour) to discuss content insights, past performance, and brainstorm future content ideas.
- Ensure videos meet quality standards by filming in good lighting conditions, presenting clothing in a wrinkle-free and lint-free manner, and maintaining a presentable background.
- Be comfortable showing your face, trying on clothing for videos, and providing voice-overs as necessary.
- Seek batch approvals for videos before they are posted.
- Monitor comments for engagement and moderation purposes.
- Use editing tools such as CapCut and/or TikTok editor.
- Stay updated and familiar with the content of the anime we have merchandise for, to create relevant and engaging videos.
- Dedicate 5 minutes every day to publish the drafts on TikTok and Instagram. Videos should be posted anytime between 1-8pm.
Logistics and Our Responsibilities:
- We will provide you with tripod equipment, a selection of our merchandise, and any additional items you may need for content creation.
- Initial guidance will be given in the form of TikTok and Reel prompts.
- We will provide iCloud storage access to upload videos/clips bi-weekly (or as needed) to optimize storage space on your personal device.
- A probationary period will be specified in the contract.
Basic Guidelines and Video Requirements:
- Videos should be filmed in daylight or well-lit conditions.
- Clothing presented in videos should be free of wrinkles and lint, maintaining a presentable appearance.
- Backgrounds should be visually presentable.
- A mix of longer (30 seconds+) and shorter videos should be created (5-20 seconds), with occasional participation in trends.
- Reusing or recycling content for Reels is allowed, but Reels should have a more visually appealing and professional appearance.
- Each video should include 5-8 relevant hashtags, engaging and relevant captions, and audio that is either trending or fits well with the video content.
- Ensure that high quality video uploads option is on.
Initially, we can definitely provide guidance, within the form of prompts, scripts for voice-overs, what content we are ideally looking for in the week. However, as you grow more comfortable within your role, you will have more responsibility in coming up with video/content ideas. The most important thing is to have fun with it and create content that you like! We’re not aiming for perfection, just engaging content that will perform well!
