Social Media Marketing Associate

KMS Tools & Equipment is seeking applicants for a full-time Social Media position in our Marketing Department located in Coquitlam, BC. As a Social Media Marketing Associate at KMS Tools, you will be responsible for following the company brand while producing a range of materials that will be posted on Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Youtube, Google Business Pages and other Social Media platforms.

We sell everything from power tools to compressors, welders, hand tools, woodworking machinery, shop equipment, and much more! All KMS Tools marketing is produced in-house in a fast-paced environment. An ability to manage the workflow of multiple projects, thrive in a production-based department, meet deadlines, and apply your experience in digital marketing is essential.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional people and communication skills, verbal and written, including excellent grammar and spelling.
• Ability to write and deliver creative content that captures customers' attention.
• Photography and video editing skills with working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Specific experience with tools and industrial equipment is an asset.
• Works with a high level of attention to detail and organization.
• The candidate possesses a strong ability to prioritize, plan, and multitask, coupled with a sense of responsibility and motivation to enhance processes and procedures.
• Positive, friendly attitude with a passion for helping people.
• Thrives in an engaged, fun workplace.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team, requiring minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Exceptional computer skills including email, web applications, and other software.

Responsibilities:

• Create, edit, and publicly share engaging content daily (videos, pictures) on various Social Media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Youtube, Google Business Pages TikTok, and other relevant channels.
• Find ways to drive website traffic to KMS Tools.
• Interact with customers on all Social Media platforms.
• Follow KMS Tools and suppliers' branding standards.
• Implement editing processes for all posts to ensure quality and consistency.
• Track, analyze, and report on performance.
• Complete graphic design work as required.
• Perform other Marketing and administrative support tasks as required
• Work hard to “get it done” and have fun doing so.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
