```Duties```
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be crucial in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Conduct financial audits to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Process accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payment of invoices
- Utilize accounting software (such as Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft) to record financial transactions accurately
- Perform account analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support decision-making processes
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (such as Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft)
- Experience with financial auditing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid understanding of corporate finance concepts
- Ability to analyze financial data and generate meaningful insights
- Familiarity with payroll processing procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
