Staff Accountant

```Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to pursue a CPA designation and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Complete compilation engagements
- Complete and/or assist with review engagements
- Assist auditor-in-charge on audit engagements
- Prepare personal tax returns and corporate tax returns
- Utilize accounting software (such as Caseware, Caseview, Tax Cycle and QuickBooks) to perform daily tasks
- Provide support for audits and tax filings
- Assist with ad hoc financial projects as needed

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (such as Caseware, Caseview, Tax Cycle and Quickbooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in public accounting is a plus

Salary: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
