Structural Engineer

Seebe Inc. is a custom metal manufacturer, and our team is growing! We are hiring a Structural or Mechanical engineer , with the following responsibilities:

• Develop models and drawings in Solidworks
• Collaborate with team members and customer to identify solutions in response to customer requirements, requiring occasional site visits and participation in project meetings
• Design and development of projects, with follow up through completion, including hands on troubleshooting
• Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and advancements in science/research
• Other job related duties as required

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

• EIT or Peng designation
• Graduated (or about to graduate) from a Canadian University or College
• Previous experience in construction or exposure to a trade an asset
• Registered Apega Member
• Proficiency with Solidworks and MS Office
• Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities, problem solve, and create alternate solutions
• Self starter who can work alone and is willing to assist and work with others
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Clean driving record and method of transportation
• Manufacturing experience preferred, with ability to transfer skill set to engineering

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
