Key Job Elements
- Contribute your talent and energy to help the Canadian Program team design, deliver and support world class Light Armoured Vehicles.
- Interact externally with the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) when helping to host visits, conference calls, preparing reports and submission of contractual correspondence.
- Act as the Customer's advocate internally across all departments to ensure deliverables are received on time, are of high quality, and meet contractual requirements.
- Support Bid & Proposal activity for new task bids to the customer, monitor cost, schedule, and performance on task activities.
- Support or lead projects for the Canadian Program; including, Business Case development for Performance Based Agreement initiatives (Value Engineering or Repair & Overhaul)
- Support organizational change through Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) initiatives
- Other special projects, as required opportunities will exist to support other International Government programs, off sites, visits or special projects.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a university program related to Management and Organizational Studies, Political Science, Governance, Leadership and Ethics, or Business
- Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrates well-developed organizational, time management and decision making skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Project Management / Planning
- Knowledge / experience in a technical / production environment
- Database creation / management experience
