Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Supervisor, Business Operations, the Administrative and Accounting Support Student will be responsible for:
- Providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers and responding to their inquiries in a timely manner
- Assist in updating ACRs for Forestry inspections
- Tracking and processing invoices, cheque requisitions in accordance to Purchasing and Expenditure Control Policies.
- Work on Daily Contract Sheets data entry
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, including assisting in data entry, filing, calculation of cost associated with Operations activities
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution in the field of Accounting or related discipline
- Currently enrolled in full-time studies and returning to school full-time in the Fall
- Good customer service skills
- Strong attention to details and demonstrated ability for accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communications skills
- Knowledge of accounting and well developed MS Office computer skills including Excel, Word, Access
- Strong organizational skills including ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
