Summer Student- Shipping & Receiver

CanCrete Equipment Ltd. headquartered in Mississauga, is a leading supplier of parts and equipment for Canada’s concrete pumping market. We offer solutions to the concrete industry, be it through new equipment, used equipment, rentals, parts, service, or simply providing advice when needed.

The Role: The Summer Student in this role will work out of the Orangeville location office/shop and assist with proper order picking/packaging, shipping/receiving, and overall shop flow, and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in fulfilling customer orders, help with outbound shipping, inbound receiving, staging of products, and all related documentation
• Assist in receiving incoming courier packages and verify goods
• Maintain warehouse including putting away stock, sweeping, organizing supplies, and garbage disposal
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Engages and operates with a high level of integrity and reliability
• High level of organizational skills and professionalism
• Detail-oriented
• Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Position may involve repetitive bending and an ability to lift up to 50lbs

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Salary: $18.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Experience:

• Shipping & receiving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Class G Licence (required)
