Job Description
CEDA is currently hiring a Superintendent for our Mechanical Services team in Conklin, AB. This position reports directly to our Operations Manager of Mechanical Service

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Overall execution of Safety, Culture, and Leadership.
- Supervision & leadership of all foremen and crews on site.
- Safely deliver and communicate targets, budgets, and objectives to the operations team.
- Champion the CEDA Safety Culture by creating and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Client’s Management, Operations, and Corporate colleagues.
- Set performance standards, communicate expectations to the team, and hold them accountable.
- Drive improvements in safety, productivity, quality, and service standards.
- Verify daily time sheets for accuracy on hours and project coding.
Role Specifications:
- 3-5 years of proven SAGD plant & pad construction supervisor experience.
- Extensive experience and knowledge working with MOC’s.
- Mechanical aptitude, with a background as a Red Seal Pipefitter.
- Proven safety leader committed to CEDA’s Core Values.
- Adaptable team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Track record as an effective, supportive, and engaging supervisor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Suite, Field FX, and SharePoint.
- Valid class 5 driver's license with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years.
- Certificates required: CSO, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Leadership for Excellence.
Skills:
- Receptive to change; can adapt to changing circumstances.
- Works closely and collaboratively with the operations team for operational efficiency.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills.
- Leads employee development and training initiatives, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test (booked by CEDA).
