Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to an individual in their daily activities
- Assist with personal care tasks such as choosing appropriate clothing and footwear
- Help with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behavior
- Follow ISP plans and instructions provided by administrator
Experience:
- Previous experience in home care, senior care, or assisted living preferred
- Familiarity with Autism and understanding of the unique needs of individuals with Autism
- Ability to provide compassionate and person-centered care
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with individuals and families.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
