Team Lead Treasury

As the Treasury Capital Markets Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing our treasury capital markets operations. You will lead a team of treasury professionals, ensuring effective execution of capital market functions, including risk management (foreign exchange, interest rate, commodities, etc.), optimizing funding structures, and navigating financial markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treasury capital markets, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to optimize financial processes.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Lead and mentor a team of capital markets professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
• Oversee and execute financial risk management strategies related to capital markets, including foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodities risks.
• Optimize funding structures and execute capital market transactions.
• Develop and implement treasury capital market policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and legal, to support strategic initiatives and financial objectives.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments to inform treasury capital market strategies.
• Prepare and present treasury capital market reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
• Foster relationships with financial institutions, managing capital market relationships and negotiating terms to optimize services and costs.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (CFA, CTP) is a plus.
• Proven experience in treasury capital markets, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of financial derivatives, funding structures, and capital market transactions.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in treasury management systems and financial software.
