GardaWorld, a company with an entrepreneurial culture and operating in an international context, is looking for a dynamic Team Leader ready to take on new challenges for its Canadian Cash Application Shared Services Center, located in its head office at Ville Saint-Laurent.
Job Description
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, your responsibilities will include:
-Supervise and mentor the Cash Application team in all processes surrounding the collection of payments and their application to invoices
-Produce reconciliations to balance cash receipts and their impact on the accounting books (daily control)
-Analyze more complex cash receipt situations by performing advanced research and working with internal departments to find resolution
-Communicate regularly with Canadian divisions and other business partners to ensure smooth running of the process
-Continuously review processes within the team to make work more efficient
-Carry out any other related tasks linked to the responsibilities described above
Job Requirements
-Post-secondary education and bookkeeping training
-Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in an Accounts Receivable department
-Team management experience required
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Competent in English and French, as the position will require daily interaction with national teams. The candidate must be able to work in a French-speaking environment..
-Intermediate level of Excel
-Hybrid between remote and onsite presence
