Job Description:
As a 1st and 2nd Cook at Coachwood Golf and Country Club, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable dining experiences for our patrons. Working in a dynamic kitchen, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and executing a diverse menu that compliments the ambiance of our establishment. You will be working the line preparing meals in a clean and timely manner held to the highest standards, and reporting to the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh (present, garnish dishes).
- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
- Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes.
- Handle and store ingredients and food while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.
- Set up workstations with required equipment.
- Accommodate guests’ special requests.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in high volume environment. A Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredient handling, and food presentation.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adaptable to learning, and demonstrating problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on fostering a positive team atmosphere.
Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Must have reliable transportation to/from workplace.

Food Handler Certification (preferred)
