Caframo Lab Solutions (CLS) is looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our team! In this full-time position, you will work closely with a highly motivated technical and supportive team to perform laboratory account management, support, and customer service.

Compensation: $60,000 - $84,000 per annum inclusive of full benefits after 3 months

What You Will be Doing:

Key responsibilities are defined below:

  • Channel Management: Generate business, seek new opportunities relative to strategic objectives and goals.
  • Distributor Account Management: Build relationships, create plans, provide insights for pricing and forecasts.
  • Distributor Sales Rep Educating: Provide knowledge (product markets and customers) and develop Caframo brand awareness to gain business when customer opportunities arise. Train, inform, coach, assist – in person, by email, on social media platforms.
  • Expand the number of relationships within each account.
  • Build base of End User Customers: Seek knowledge through customer service. Solve problems, gain product applications, provide technical support: sales and reverse flow.
  • Maintain databases of knowledge: CRM – log calls, create contacts, applications, market language.
  • Execute Tradeshows for End Users and Distributors: Pre-plan, attend, follow-up. Generate goals and track ROI.
  • Collaborate with Marketing by providing best customer messaging for marketing initiatives, i.e. website content, newsletters, product data sheets.
  • Assist in gaining VOC knowledge for product development projects.
  • Keep current with competitor strengths and new industry entrants, identifying opportunities for Caframo’s future growth.
  • Administer and run reports on business activities to make data-informed decisions.
  • Be a product expert with the technical competency to operate and troubleshoot our products to gain sales, ensuring customers recommend our products to their industry colleagues.

What you bring:

  • Post-secondary degree in science, business, engineering or a related combination or field of study or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in a technical account management role is considered an asset.
  • A strong background in research and/or experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Strong negotiating, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Organizational skills to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines.
  • Learning agility with the ability to pivot and shift priorities as needed.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and self-motivation.
  • Trade show experience is an asset.
  • Ability to travel throughout North America.
