The Team

Global Banking and Markets Engineering (GBME) is the fast-moving, award-winning technology engine that powers Scotiabank's Corporate and Investment Banking and Capital Markets businesses.

FX Options Technology is a truly global team that operates in a dynamic and complex space requiring adaptability and flexibility. The team supports FX desks across multiple locations globally.

The Role

We're looking for a Technical Business Analyst to lead, build, maintain, and support the Murex application with expanding FX Options global sales/trading footprint and complex exotic products, as well as a diverse range of downstream users including confirmations, regulatory, risk, product control and others. This is a super opportunity for an energetic, driven individual to ensure business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in demanding timelines and in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • 3-4+ yrs hands-on experience with the trading platform with emphasis on FX Option products support and development.
  • 3-4+ yrs of investigating and resolution of application issues involving P&L, PLVar, Risk, VaR, Risk analysis, Simulation views and e-Tradepad.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and prioritize multiple requests and goals in a dynamic environment with diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Business/Functional requirements documentation skills.
  • Experience building/maintaining vendor relationships and tracking open ticket status.
