Experience
- Well suited to a hands-on fixer, handyperson
- Ability to troubleshoot plumbing, mechanical, industrial work settings as well as commercial kitchen environments
- Calm in busy environments, able to focus on the work at hand
Description
Calypso’s Technicians are responsible for the upkeep and repairs of equipment and infrastructure including our attractions and buildings. They play a key role in maintaining pools water quality and levels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to work orders for repairs/preventative maintenance daily as assigned
- Inspect park equipment and repair as necessary
- Perform renovations of the buildings and grounds as required
- Maintain and repair tubes and rafts
Qualifications
- Best suited for someone interested in trades such as plumbing, electrical, mechanical, filtration, or construction
- Able to work independently to get tasks done.
- Good opportunity for mature worker who wants to mentor the next generation.
Other requirements
- Must be physically fit, able to stand, walk distances, kneel and climb stairs
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- 8 hours per day, 5 days per week Monday to Friday except for in-season (82 days in summer).
