Territory Account Manager

You will manage your own territory with flexibility to provide our Vancouver Island (15-20% travel) B.C based customers with sales support and maintenance service for their laundry and dish equipment. The Territory Lead plays a critically important role, supporting customers directly in a way that is unique within our company. Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customers in your territory for any dish and laundry issues
- Provide sales support and customer service for customers seeking to better use our products to meet their cleaning needs
- Identify opportunities for existing customers to utilize products they don’t currently buy from us, and support them to switch to our products
- Identify businesses in your territory that would benefit from our products, and initiate contact with them
- Follow through on warm and cold leads to close new sales
- Maintain customers’ laundry and dish equipment with parts updates, sub-assembly swaps, trouble-shooting, and routine maintenance
Qualifications
- Sales experience including lead generation, warm lead follow up, tracking and following up with prospects, and closing deals
- Customer relationship-building including training customers
- Customer service including troubleshooting, telephone support, problem-solving, and internal organizational navigation to ensure customer needs are met
- Mechanical aptitude, including comfort with installing and servicing equipment that contain moving parts, seals, and sub-assemblies
- Experience with industrial and commercial laundry and dish clients, such as hotels, nursing homes, hospitals, restaurants, and other industries, is an asset
- Experience with testing chemical concentrations, or working with WHIMS-controlled substances would be helpful but not required
