Position Summary:

We currently have an opening for a Williams Industrial -Territory Manager for South Western Ontario.

Williams Industrial is sold through the distribution channel and works extensively with distributors to create long-lasting partnerships, generate sales and drive new business by promoting, testing and training at both the distributor and end user level.

Williams Industrial is comprised of the following brands:

· Williams

· Bahco Hand Tools

· Bahco Bandsaw Blades

· CDI Torque Products

The Territory Manager responsibilities includes but are not limited to: managing business relationships with our distributor partners to ensure accurate and timely tooling program implementation, increased product penetration, growth, profitability, execution of marketing strategies, sales, attend trade shows, inventory management, impact management and retention of our customers. You will also ensure that all customer orders, returns and adjustments are processed accurately and that all records are kept up to date. Company assets must be managed effectively at all times and all required reports must be completed and submitted in a timely manner.

  • Sales Calls - this includes but is not limited to traveling to our customers and potential customer’s facilities providing them with information and support. Making sales presentations to prospective and present customers, calculating and quoting prices, contacting prospects and explaining features and merits of our products or services offered, utilizing sales and negotiation techniques and answering all questions concerning our product or services.
  • Monitors territory performance against established objectives/guidelines and takes the appropriate action to improve performance.
  • Assists in establishing sales objectives for the territory in conjunction with the Business Manager and ensures sales activities in the territory comply with established policies, procedures and practices, using good judgment and decision-making to ensure corporate ethical and professional standards of conduct are maintained in the absence of formalized guidelines.
  • Stay connected and inform Management of industry, product, economic, and other territory changes that may impact sales and overall company business; provides timely reporting of activities in the field using Impact (CRM).
  • Assists in developing a territory coverage plan, which defines the type of support and frequency of customer contact required to meet territory goals.
  • Performs analysis on Regional opportunities and develops forecast for sales by customer and product and other statistical reports as required on a timely basis; identifies additional activities, training or materials necessary to achieve specific product sales goals in key accounts and markets; responsible for identifying and continuously improving activities that can affect customer perception.
  • Provides recommendations for expense budgets; manages business expenses in accordance with corporate guidelines; ensures all assigned company owned equipment, documents, materials, etc. are used, maintained and stored as required and in accordance with company policy.

Performs other duties as required.

No car allowance or company car are provided. A valid driver’s license, impeccable driving record, ability to obtain adequate insurance coverage, and reliable personal vehicle are required.

Characteristics:

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as have strong organizational abilities and an understanding of time management. You work well under pressure with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Previous outside sales and the ability to effectively prospect and manage a territory is a requirement to the position. Knowledge and previous hand, power, and torque tool sales is a definite plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 per year
