V.i.e - Business Planning Executive - Dubai

MAIN PURPOSE

As part of the Marketing, Communications & Client team for the United Arab Emirates, in the role of V.I.E - Business Planning Executive, you will support the orchestration of key projects as a transversal player in the organization, participate in the monitoring and coordination of the Marketing, Communications and Client Advertising & Promotional budget, and assist with the articulation of strategic action plans and tracking performance.

This position rests on a strong partnership with all Marketing, Communications & Client departments. The role requires a resourceful and motivated individual, curious, agile, flexible with strategic, analytical and project management skills. The length of this V.I.E assignment is 12 months and ideally starts in March 2024 depending on visa requirements, the position is based in Dubai.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

• STRATEGY & MARKET ACTION PLAN
• Assist with the overall articulation of the Marketing, Communications & Client strategic direction;
• Assist the team with monitoring the implementation of identified key Market Action Plan projects notably through quarterly updates and reports;
• Ensure objectives and KPI’s are clearly defined and monitored;
• Support the orchestration of the Market Action Plan deck for the Marketing, Communications & Client team.

• BUDGET MANAGEMENT & PERFORMANCE
• Follow-up the Advertising & Promotional Budget in terms of allocation, coordination and tracking, in close collaboration with each department and finance;
• Coordinate with tne Marketing, Communications & Client community for campaign ROI measurement and takeaways.

• PROJECT MANAGEMENT ORCHESTRATION
• Support cross functional 360 projects orchestration, maintaining a strong client-centric mindset and collaborative way of working;
• Assist project leads on project briefs and ensure adherence across workstreams;
• Help set up and manage timeline and retro planning among all teams involved and monitor progress & achievements;
• Facilitate post-execution monitoring and assessment of projects.

• BENCHMARKING
• Foster a culture of curiosity through competitive intelligence monitoring;
• Create and update report and share best practices for main luxury players in the UAE (events, pop-up, new product launches, gifting, etc.).

As a Business Planning Executive, you will have a great opportunity to be an essential contributor in a dynamic team, working for the success of a first-class Luxury Maison under strong business acceleration and transformation. In order to be successful on this role, we expect the following:

• You are graduated from a Master's in Business, Marketing or related disciplines and you already justify from 2 years of professional experiences in relevant positions (Business Planning, Strategic Projects, Marketing, etc.) ideally working transversally with all key functions in a market/HQ;;
• Strong interpersonal skills as well as robust organizational skills;
• Proven track record of effectively interacting with peers, effective, versatile and action-oriented;
• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and organize workload to meet organizational timelines in a fast paced, high-growth environment;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong team player and project management skills combined with ability to work as part of a cross functional team;
• Expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint;
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation;
• Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances; able to proactively question and challenge to prioritize and identify solutions in timely manner;
• Clear thinker with outstanding numeric ability supported by a rounded commercial awareness;
• Able to see the big picture but possesses a pragmatic /flexible approach to delivery;
• Able to articulate clearly complex concept/project in a simple and cohesive manner;
• Curious in nature and always looking to question, learn, and look for better ways to do things;

• Firstly, you will be engaging with an online video interview of 15min for us to assess your understanding of the position and motivations;

• Subsequently, you will be meeting with the International Talent Acquisition team to dive deeper and assess your fit to this role;

• Finally, you will be able to meet with the local Hiring Team (Local HR and Hiring Manager).
