The Strategic Business Manager is responsible for advising and leading several key strategic initiatives for the growth of BRP's Latin American & Caribbean (LATAM) business. This will include (i) developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) that management will use to monitor/manage the performance of the team executing the Strategic Plan and (ii) leading special projects associated with the achievement of the LATAM regional strategic plan. It should be noted that given interest in operational activities the candidate could soon grow into several different commercial and/or operational responsibilities.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY OF:
- Work in close collaboration with the RGM and the LATAM team to develop effective governance processes, KPIs and metrics to monitor/manage the execution of the Strategic Plan. KPIs and governance will focus on Dealer Network Development as well as Sales, After-Sales and Marketing.
- Lead implementation of new processes and tools to increase LATAM team productivity and help solidify the region’s P&L/operation into a respected business unit of the Global Retail & Services division of BRP
- Work in close collaboration with BRP’s Mexican and Brazilian teams to develop a detailed growth plan for Mexico and Brazil to include identifying and recommending objectives for the country and developing and recommending actions to achieve those objectives.
- Lead or contribute to strategic projects of the region while acting as the link to head-office when projects are developed in collaboration with or are being monitored by corporate head quarters.
- Be a member of and contribute to the LATAM management team and strategic direction.
YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field;
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in Strategic Planning, Management Consulting, or more generally marketing and business analysis.
- Proven ability to address complex multi-variable problems, work on several projects in parallel, and perform in a fast-pace international business environment
- Expert knowledge of Excel (complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, macros, etc.) and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; Ability to work in Portuguese an advantage.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills with the ability to collect, synthesize and interpret detailed data
- High degree of ownership, organization, self-initiative and follow through
- High-level of motivation and result-oriented mindset
- Analytical skill set with strong commercial and financial acumen
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Interest in the Powersports or motor industry
