Two Shifts available: 7am-3:30pm Or 3:30pm- 11:30pm
Our Edmonton location is looking for workers, who will work in a warehouse setting assembling steel stud wall panels, loading, unloading, shipping.
Reports to: Production Manager
Working Conditions & Physical Capabilities:
Full time (40 hours / week).
- Monday – Friday
- Ability to lift (up to 50 lbs)
- Working on the production assembly line
- Use hand tools (ie: drills, impact drills, measuring tape)
- Able to perform the physical requirements of the job, which may include bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, twisting, lifting, performing repetitive tasks, walking, and standing for extended periods of time
- Must have good manual dexterity and hand eye coordination to complete the job and safely work with hand tools.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately read and follow production paperwork
- Complete tasks such as assembling parts
- Stack or pile materials, such as steel studs, or panels
- Installation of hardware or preparation for shipping as specified
- Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported
- Maintains condition of work area, clean and tidy (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
- Ability and willingness to help in other departments and doing “odd jobs” as required to meet the needs of the business
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Competencies:
- Prior Warehouse experience an asset
- Able to operate all the following equipment efficiently and safely: drills, hand tools, tape measure
- Self-motivated, hard working and a team player
- Strong attention to detail
- Time management with a sense of urgency
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with physically demanding work
- Maintain and improve quality standards, looking for constant improvement
- Ability to read and follow instructions with a focus on “doing it right” the first time
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn additional skills and complete other duties as assigned.

- Wear PPEs as required
