Location: 131 Tilley Road, Kelowna, BC

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Associate with forklift experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing freight in our warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate and complete documentation for each shipment. While truck driving is not the primary focus of this position, having a Class 1 driver's license is considered an asset. This is a full-time position with a 6:00 am -2:30 pm shift from Monday to Friday, closed on Stat holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to manage freight.
• Load and unload trucks, using equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space.
• Perform inventory checks and keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Comply with all safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete, including delivery receipts, bills of lading, and other related documents.

Core Competencies/Experience:

• Must have a forklift certification or be willing to obtain one.
• Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record is an asset.
• Must provide a driver's abstract if applying for driving responsibilities.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Willingness to work early mornings and overtime as needed.
