Weekend Server

Sunnyside Grill is looking to hire a part-time Weekend Serverfor our Burlington location. Located at 450 Appleby Line Unit 11, Burlington, ON L7L 2Y2

• To work weekends and a few shifts during the week day
• Minimum wage per hour plus tips
• Must have previous serving experience

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year experience (minimum), work well in a team setting, manage in a fast-paced environment, have attention to detail, have an upbeat and polite attitude, and be punctual and reliable.

We would like this person to be available during the weekends and some week-day shifts.

Duties include

• Offering a warm welcome to customers and directing them to their respective seating areas
• Accurately relaying customers’ orders and specific requests to the kitchen staff
• Accommodating families by providing booster seats, children’s menus, and high chairs
• Staying knowledgeable of the menu
• Ensuring customers are receiving the correct orders before delivering meals to the tables
• Taking food and beverage orders and relaying them to the Cooks
• Presenting guests with their bills and processing payments
