What is the opportunity?
Rotate within the strategic client group, adding value to division of responsibility and providing ideas to enhance business practices. Acquire technical knowledge and support development / processes enhancements efforts. Accept one business project to research and present proposed solution at the end of the internship.
What will you do?
- Map our Client Management (CM) processes with a view to provide clear overview of interactions, grouped by categories, identifying areas of weakness, and assessing client impact.
- Work closely with Solution Partners to understand key development trends and efficiency gains and identify opportunities to “template” efficiency gains.
- In co-ordination with SP, pick one project / area where scalable efficiency gained can be achieved, and design an effective solution.
- As part of the team rotation connect with RMs to gain an understanding of clients covered, main pain points and desired relationship outcomes. Build a “Top 25 client bible / market intelligence” (SWOT analysis and market positioning). Highlight key industry trends by client segments (Pension / Insurance / Asset Managers)
- Lead rigorous tracking of client activity in MCV and peripheral CRM tools, inclusive of creating and tracking deals to completion, CPOM data management, legal agreements, and fees schedules processing (recording and imaging).
- Organize resources to deliver client decks in co-ordination with proposal management, administer clients’ events (in collaboration with CPs and SPs) and co-ordinate client events.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Business or Science University degree.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Ability to think strategically and work in a matrixed organization.
- Analytical mindset.
- Collaborative attitude.
Nice-to-have
- Working towards higher education or professional certification (CFA / CPA).
- Volunteer experience.
- Prior experience working in an office setting.
