Job Description
Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations for 12-15 CDN and USD bank accounts, recording transactions as required on a timely basis
Ensuring vendor payments, both cheque and electronic, clear the banks of a timely basis and working with the AP team to identify any potential vendor issues. Managing stale-dated and void cheques
Identifying incoming customer payment and collaborating with Credit teams to ensure correct/timely application against customer accounts
Overseeing system reports on intercompany transactions and reconciliations, investigating and leading the process for resolving discrepancies between transactions recorded by related companies
