Job Description
As part of the GEPR Energy Canada team, you will play a significant role in a special project aimed at developing analytical/ business solutions for Rotating Machines. Rotating Machines Peterborough (RMP) is part of GEPR Energy Canada operations and provides design engineering capability to enable rotating machine product solutions for the full range of the Power Conversion portfolio, such marine, industrial, and energy applications with electrical and mechanical energy conversion systems. You will be working with commercial and marketing teams to fulfill specific project requirements. The successful candidate will report to either the Renewal Parts or Repair Services Leader
Primary Responsibilities:
The Business interns will be working closely with the Commercial, Marketing and communication teams to execute several projects related to Large equipment, Services and Parts, continuous improvement and Lean projects, product marketing and business development
The primary responsibilities include many of the following:
- Analyze Sales and Order information on various components and create a database to derive conclusions on price, costs and margin
- Analyze quotes obtained from vendors and perform price analysis
- Analyze order win rates and derive various conclusions
- Prepare data to support marketing and communication campaigns on products and Services
Skills Required:
- Business and Commerce students (Level 1 to Level 3)
- Strong background in Commerce, financial accounting and analysis, marketing Data analysis and Data management
- Presentation skills
- Proficiency with software programs such as MS office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, One Note
Educational Qualifications:
Students pursuing Business or Commerce undergraduate degree – Level 1 to Level 3 from Canadian University (preferably in Ontario)

This opportunity is intended for current students who will be returning to their in-class studies upon the completion of the work term in Fall 2024. It is not intended for candidates who will have graduated prior to the start of this position.
