We are headquartered in British Columbia, Canada, with offices across Canada, the US, and Australasia. The Account Executive has the option to work remotely, in US and Canada.
We are seeking an Account Executive who can confidently approach B2B prospects, develop/close the sale and provide post-sale account management. We value curiosity, honesty, teamwork, and enthusiastic problem-solving. You’ll help expand our product sales in multiple sectors.

This role involves generating new business and selling additional products and services to existing customers. Collaborating with our marketing team, the Account Executive will seek out and develop leads, conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospects and customers, and close business per sales goals. This role will also manage existing customer relationships and assist in maintaining a strong annual contract renewal rate. Sales calls will be conducted via Microsoft Teams and limited travel will be required (10% maximum).
Responsibilities:
- Use CRM to call and email leads, manage data, and document your activities
- Interact credibly with skilled industry professionals
- Aggressively seek and develop leads, working with our marketing team
- Analyze the customer’s issues, identify problems, and communicate business benefits/solutions of our software products
- Perform online software demonstrations
- Write and manage proposals/sales quotes
- Research contact and target account information
Required Skills:
- B2B sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization and time management
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Comfortable maintaining records in a corporate CRM database
- Ability to quickly learn new software
- Ability to work efficiently in a virtual environment
- Self-motivated and able to stay on task without supervision
- Experience using Microsoft Office
Preferred:
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Experience using and selling enterprise-level software
- Experience selling to local government or utilities sector
