Our Hiring Process

  • Second Interview: After our first interview, we’ll look to evaluate your fit with the team, and may ask you to complete a small business case. We care about our culture and want to bring on culture contributors to the team. You’ll meet with our COO, CEO, and other execs in this session.
  • Third Interview: (as needed) We’ll use this to really get to know you as a person and understand your personal and career goals so we can make sure we can support you as much as you’ll support us

The Account Executive Role:

The Account Executive is a motivated and organized professional. The Account Executive will work to grow our customer base and increase our sales and Hop In’s market penetration. In this position, you will be responsible for sourcing new leads, making outbound calls to potential customers, and closing sales. The Account Executive will actively assist the marketing team in creating marketing strategies and tactics that will drive sales.

Responsibilities:

End to End Sales Cycle Management: Work closely on all stages of the sales cycle from prospecting to account management. This will include identifying client segments, creating acquisition strategies, bringing on new clients, and managing current accounts.

Nurture Accounts: The Account Executive will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from lead stage to close. This will involve nurturing existing relationships and establishing new ones, while continuously working on the improvement of the sales process and strategy.

Sales Script Development: The Account Executive will be tasked with developing personal sales scripts and creating content for prospective clients. This will require a deep understanding of the company's products and services and the ability to tailor the sales approach to meet the specific needs of each client.

New Business Development: The Account Executive will be responsible for unearthing new sales opportunities through networking, channels and referrals. This will involve conducting market research and staying up-to-date on industry trends, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and partnerships.

Customer Support: As a key member of the sales team, The Account Executive will be the first point of contact for customers with issues or concerns. The Account Executive will be expected to promptly respond to concerns and accurately assign tasks to the Operations team.

Sales Target Achievement: The Account Executive will be expected to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs, while participating in all team meetings and sales training provided by the company.

Networking and Representation: The Account Executive will represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events. The Account Executive will also be expected to participate in all team meetings and sales training provided by the company.

Market Knowledge: To be successful in this role, the Account Executive will need to maintain knowledge of the company's programs and keep abreast of sector and industry news, regional issues, regulatory issues, government policy & legislation, and key contacts.

Proposal and Presentation Delivery: The Account Executive will be responsible for creating and delivering presentations and proposals to potential partners and clients. This will require a deep understanding of the client's needs and the ability to tailor the presentation to meet those needs.

Building Relationships: Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders is a key aspect of this role. The Account Executive will need to be able to establish and maintain strong working relation

Requirements:

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to translate complicated technical jargon for the average consumer
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Experience in Software Sales, Transportation Technology, or HR is a plus
  • End to end sales experience - both generating pipeline and closing deals

Willingness to travel:

  • Some travel may be required for this role, may need to attend conferences, trade shows, and meet with clients and partners in different locations.
