Job Description:
As an Accountant at DROP Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization. You will be responsible for a wide range of financial tasks, including but not limited to general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, budget analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems.
- Assist in external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience as Accountant, bookkeeper or other like positions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA) , considered an asset.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferred.
