On their behalf, we're seeking an engaging and detail-oriented Accounting Administrator to join their team. This is a six-month Term Opportunity to use your skills and expertise to make a meaningful impact and gain valuable experience in this industry.

As the Accounting Administrator, you will play an important role in processing financial records. With a proactive, solutions-driven approach, you'll be a pivotal player on their team. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will not only enhance customer experiences but also strengthen the collaborative team dynamic. Here, every interaction is an opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to service excellence, making a real difference in a supportive and engaging environment. Additionally, you will step in to support the front desk as needed by ensuring a warm and professional welcome to clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily processing of cash receipts, including EFT, credit cards, cheques, and wire transfers.
  • Proactively monitor and manage remittance emails, ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Step in to help with Front Desk coordination as needed, becoming the first point of contact for clients, and managing incoming calls and inquiries with professionalism.
  • Assist with processing credit applications and maintaining the credit reference database with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Processing of incoming AP vendor invoices.
  • Embrace a variety of other essential duties, contributing to the organization's seamless operations.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Industry experience an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Keen eye for detail and accuracy in all job duties.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment where the ability to adapt to shifting priorities is where you shine.
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills and an unwavering professional demeanor.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with accounting software (experience with Sage 300 is a bonus!)
