We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team for a 16 week long journey. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the accounting field within the entertainment and talent management industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for numbers, excellent organizational skills, and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, specifically in managing accounts receivable processes such as invoicing, payment tracking, and collections.
What the responsibilities of an intern may include:
- Help manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections.
- Assist in reconciling client accounts and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
- Generate and distribute monthly statements to clients.
- Work closely with Dulcedo’s clients to ensure timely and accurate billing.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation related to accounts receivable.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize accounts receivable procedures and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist with various projects and tasks as needed, providing support to the accounting team.
Our ideal candidate would have:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Skilled in customer relationship management with a genuine liking in helping people.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team setting.
