We are looking to fill our entry-level Accounting Data Entry Clerk position within our Edmonton AB team. This is a full-time, permanent position with a total compensation plan including:

If you are detail oriented with critical thinking skills and are looking to start a career in accounting, we want to hear from you! Reporting directly to our Controller, you will get professional training in accounting. We will show you how to:
- Generate receivable invoices.
- Record payable invoices.
- Assess vendor payment eligibility.
- Generate and update purchase orders.
- Monitor work orders status.
- Collect outstanding accounts.
- Learn new skills as you collaborate with other departments and facilities in resolving problems.
- Maximize your knowledge in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite and MTS system.
- Reception coverage as required.

You will more likely be successful if you have:
- A High School Diploma.
- One or two accounting/finance courses would be nice, but not required.
- One year work experience in an office or customer service setting.
- Enthusiastic learning attitude.
- An aptitude in generating accurate data entries proficiently.
- Ability to think critically with sound judgement.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A little bit of curiosity.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8AM-4:30PM.
