Accounting Data Entry Clerk

We are looking to fill our entry-level Accounting Data Entry Clerk position within our Edmonton AB team. This is a full-time, permanent position with a total compensation plan including:

If you are detail oriented with critical thinking skills and are looking to start a career in accounting, we want to hear from you! Reporting directly to our Controller, you will get professional training in accounting. We will show you how to:

• Generate receivable invoices.
• Record payable invoices.
• Assess vendor payment eligibility.
• Generate and update purchase orders.
• Monitor work orders status.
• Collect outstanding accounts.
• Learn new skills as you collaborate with other departments and facilities in resolving problems.
• Maximize your knowledge in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite and MTS system.
• Reception coverage as required.

You will more likely be successful if you have:

• A High School Diploma.
• One or two accounting/finance courses would be nice, but not required.
• One year work experience in an office or customer service setting.
• Enthusiastic learning attitude.
• An aptitude in generating accurate data entries proficiently.
• Ability to think critically with sound judgement.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A little bit of curiosity.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8AM-4:30PM.
