Job Title:Accounts Payable Clerk

Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary school
• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping considered an asset

Position Summary:

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to maintain A/P performance levels.
• Perform Accounts Payable and Administrative filing duties.
• Enter Accounts Payable data.
• Post and reconcile company payments to general ledgers.
• Perform other administrative duties of the finance department.
• Review bills to the company for potential errors and/or discrepancies.
• Post A/P data to profit/loss reports, balance sheets, income statements, and other documentation.
• Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its business partners.
• All other duties and responsibilities as required.

Working Hours:

Normal working hours are 8 working hours from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday - Friday with a 30 minute lunch break.

Term:

6-month contract with possibility of becoming permanent full-time.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
