Accounts Payable Clerk

We are looking for a strong, team orientated individual to fill the position of Accounts Payable Administrator.

The candidate must have excellent communication skills as dealing with vendors and employees daily is an essential part of the role to facilitate and maintain on-time performance.

We are also looking for someone who is proficient with using a computer and its associated programs (Outlook, Excel, QuickBooks an asset) as well as administrative skills. Bookkeeping Level 2 is a minimum and 5 years’ experience are a requirement for this position.

• Match all purchase orders to invoices and verify information
• Receive and upload all vendor invoices to ticket system and ensure that all job-related costs are billed out on ticket
• Accurately code and record vendor invoices in QuickBooks to allocate expenses to jobs, accounts, and profit centers
• Correspond with vendors to resolve discrepancies, answer queries, and request invoices as needed
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
• Process monthly vendor payments via Telpay, credit card, cheque or bank payment
• Monthly reconciliation of all bank and credit card accounts
• Complete new vendor credit applications
• Ensure that all accounting processes are completed prior to month end for reporting and remittances
