Accounts Payable Clerk

We are hiring a Full-time, Permanent individual to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta for the position of Accounts Payable. The Accounts Payable role is integral to the accounting department and the company as a whole. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who is looking for a challenging opportunity within a diverse role.

The position:

• Processing vendor invoices.
• Issuing, monitoring, and maintaining PCS issued PO’s to vendors and subcontractors.
• Preparing the weekly cheque run.
• Assisting in closeout and project costing procedures.
• Collecting and reconciling LEMS submissions.
• Assisting with time uploads.
• Cross train in Accounts Receivable and assist as needed
• Crosstrain in Asset Management and assist as needed

What we need from you:

• Knowledge of Sage 50.
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• 2-3 years of direct accounting experience.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong sense of team.
• Excellent ability to determine solutions to issues.

Salary: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
