Bird Stairs is seeking a conscientious and motivated candidate to fill the role of Accounts Payable. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented and be able to perform under the supervision of the Head Office Supervisor.
Within this role you will be responsible for:
- Process and post vendor invoices
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Resolve invoice discrepancies
- Accurate data entry
- Maintaining proper records
- Performing general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing, emailing, as well as backup for reception desk phone calls
- Capable of lifting up to 50-pound boxes
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the Accounts Payable process would be an asset
- High attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively under conditions with frequent interruptions/high pressure
- Reliable with previous good attendance record
- Reliable transportation
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, word, outlook)
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SYSPRO experience would be an asset)
