Accounts Payable Coordinator & Administrator

This is a full-time position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review invoices for the proper authorization.
• Key in a consistent volume of Accounts Payable invoices each month, matching of all source documents, and ensuring appropriate GL distribution.
• Input, process, files purchase order invoices.
• Manage and maintain existing and new vendor setups.
• Communicate with vendors on invoices and receiving and payments of outstanding accounts.
• Work and collaborate with Accounts Payables Manager from the corporate service team.
• Collect and organize documents for filing and recording.
• Collect, record and follow-up on safety-related items such as checklists, inspections, and audit forms.
• Acts as first point of contact in the accounting email inbox.
• Completion of other accounting duties such as payroll data entry, and administrative tasks as assigned.
• Act as back up for the office administration team.
• Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree or Diploma in accounting or related field is considered an asset
• 2 years of experience working with a high volume of Accounts Payable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, able to multitask and high level of attention to detail
• Strong time management skills
• A self-starter, able to work independently and effectively as required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

$45,000 - $55,000 DOE
