Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Payroll Clerk

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including deductions, taxes, and benefits.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail, minimizing errors in financial records.
• Prioritize tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines.
• Collaborate within a fast-paced team environment to achieve shared goals.
• Utilize Sage 50/300 or equivalent software for financial tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication.
• Comprehend and apply BC Employment Standards as they relate to payroll.
• Prepare Records of Employment (ROEs) when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience in handling accounts payable and receivables.
• Strong proficiency in payroll processing.
• A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all financial tasks.
• Effective time management skills, meeting deadlines consistently.
• Familiarity with Sage 50/300 or equivalent accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of BC Employment Standards, particularly in payroll.
• Experience with the preparation of Records of Employment.

Compensation:

• Competitive salary commensurate with experience starting at $30.00/hr
• Monday to Friday schedule, 8:30am - 4:30pm with a half-hour lunch break
