Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including deductions, taxes, and benefits.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail, minimizing errors in financial records.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborate within a fast-paced team environment to achieve shared goals.
- Utilize Sage 50/300 or equivalent software for financial tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication.
- Comprehend and apply BC Employment Standards as they relate to payroll.
- Prepare Records of Employment (ROEs) when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience in handling accounts payable and receivables.
- Strong proficiency in payroll processing.
- A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all financial tasks.
- Effective time management skills, meeting deadlines consistently.
- Familiarity with Sage 50/300 or equivalent accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of BC Employment Standards, particularly in payroll.
- Experience with the preparation of Records of Employment.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience starting at $30.00/hr
- Monday to Friday schedule, 8:30am - 4:30pm with a half-hour lunch break
