Full time, 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday payables position to be filled. Required tasks include posting invoices, preparing cheques and cheque registers, completing bank reconciliations, communicating with contractors about invoices or payments, filing, keeping records, and other general office tasks. Experience with Sage is preferred as that is the accounting system used. It is important to be able to keep organized and stay focused in a busy office that has lots of distractions. Many of the payables are re-occurring but attention must be given to the details to ensure the right accounts are being used for payment and posted accurately. Must be able to work well under pressure, be organized, productive, focused, accurate, and work as a team or individually.
