We are a leading wholesaler of produce products in the country. With our massive growth, we are looking for an Order Desk Coordinator will provide support in coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high levels of client care service.
Schedule
Sunday - Thursday: 8AM - 4PM
Tuesday - Saturday: 8AM - 4PM
Duties
- Process orders accurately and efficiently
- Monitor all e-mails and new orders by phone and e-mail
- Communicate all new orders to the warehouse, packing room and transportation company
- Follow up on any shortages from the previous day
- Process any replacements/rejections
- Prepare sales orders & shipping sheets
- Send out price adjustment email when applicable
- Coordinate necessary truck changes as per warehouse need
- Receive appointment confirmations
- Finalize all bills and provide to warehouse shippers
- Prepare and maintain reports in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) § Act as a back-up for other administrative positions when required
- Assist with special projects
- Other duties relevant to the position will be assigned as required
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate-to-advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills required on turn times that fluctuate daily
- Team player that is willing to jump in wherever needed
- Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
