Position Summary:
We are searching for a motivated team player to join our fast paced Coquitlam Clinic. You will be working in a collaborative environment to support our clinicians in the provision of care to patients requiring prosthetic and orthotic treatments. If you love helping people, this job is for you.

Key responsibilities:
- Administrative duties - answer calls and greet patients in a helpful, respectful, and efficient manner, schedule appointments, manage referrals, handle billing and ensure compliance to safety and patient experience standards by adhering to applicable guidelines at all times.
- Patient Care duties – Coordinate patient care through the clinic: checking in/out, prepping, escorting to treatment rooms, assisting clinicians when requested, answering questions, providing post-appointment service, monitoring the waiting room. Maintains complete patient records in the EMR, collects payments and schedules next appointment for patients at check out, i.e., cast and measure, delivery, follow up appointments.
- General duties. Perform all other related clinical, administrative tasks or special tasks as required by clinic management.
Must have requirements:
- Fluent in English
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Ability to analyze, problem solve and take initiative
- Accountability
- Able to work confidently in a technology driven work environment
- Follow HIPAA compliance and maintain patient privacy
- Able to assist patients with cognitive and physical disabilities
Desirable Experience
- MOA Education and or experience
- Experience with EMR systems and a good understanding of Funding Agency billing an assets
- Experience with Quickbooks

Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 – 40 per week
