We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a full-time Receptionist.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions with both internal and external customers. This includes timely and accurate relay of calls and messages, as well as greeting and providing orientation to visitors.
Duties include:
· Answering and directing all incoming calls
· Greeting clients upon arrival, provides visitor orientation
· Coordinating all courier traffic
· Monitoring incoming general email and faxes, and directing to appropriate party
· Processing inbound “truck mail” and inbound and outbound mail, and re-directing to appropriate party
· Preparing daily bank deposits
· Preparing spreadsheets and word documents, as required
· Providing interdepartmental assistance and office administration support as assigned
Education and Experience:
· Completion of a recognized post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field, with two (2) years’ experience in an office environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
· Knowledge of Freight Industry and experience preferred
· Experience with multi-line telephone system
· Advanced level use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, with basic to intermediate knowledge in Excel
· Demonstrated understanding of filing systems and file management

· Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and commitment to service excellence
· Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment
· Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as required
