Patient Care Coordinator/Receptionist

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and seamless experience for our patients. You will be the first point of contact, responsible for coordinating appointments, managing patient inquiries, and providing administrative support to our three naturopathic doctors.

Responsibilities:

Patient interaction:
- Greet and assist patients both in-person and over the phone/email with warmth and professionalism.
- Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and consultations.
- Act as a liaison between patients and the naturopathic doctors to facilitate timely communication and address patient questions.

Administrative Support:
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details
- Complete billing and insurance claims processing
- Maintain patient records using our electronic health record systems and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.

Additional:
- Work closely with naturopathic doctors to ensure a coordinated and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving clinic administrative protocols and processes.
- Provide basic information on naturopathic treatments, services, and clinic policies.

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, and practitioners.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail to accurately collect and verify patient information.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge or interest in naturopathic medicine or other related fields is a plus.

Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or clinic setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (Jane App and/or OutSmart) is a plus.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures.
