We are a busy Neurology clinic in South Surrey that provides exemplary patient centered care. We are looking for a full-time Patient Care Coordinator. This staff member would take the lead on higher level and complex patient scheduling, they would coordinate with GP's offices and Fraser Health and patients. There is a strong MOA team in place to help get everything done.
The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years experience as an MOA in a senior capacity.
Neurology experience and terminology would be a great asset.
You will need to know all the in's and out's of the medical system and how to navigate it smoothly with excellent attention to detail.
Have professional communication skills with patients and staff.
This position could work from a home or remote office.
Care Coordinator duties are evolving but include:
- Managing the booking schedules of several Neurologists while leading a team of MOA's
- Booking and coordinating the care of of the patients
- Creating new electronic patient files, make appointment confirmation calls
- Maintaining electronic medical records
- Scanning and electronic filing
- Assisting with phones and complex inquiries
Requirements: Education, Training and Experience
- Medical Office Manager or 5 years as an MOA in a senior position
- Plexia (EMR) knowledge at a senior level

Salary: $26.00-$29.00 per hour
