The Opportunity:

Family Dental Care is looking to hire a Lead Patient Coordinator to join our busy and well-established practice. The successful candidate will have a passion for building strong patient relationships and contributing to their ongoing oral health.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist patients as they arrive; ensure a lasting positive impression for them

- Responsible for optimizing the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, booking same day appointments should they become available

- Effectively manage recall system and accurately maintain patient database

- Managing patient calls and inquiries about appointments, confirmations, amendments and cancellations

- Process referral letters and other patient correspondence upon receipt from provider; manage and file all patient records and charts

Requirements:

- Previous experience in dental, processing insurance claims and payments. Applicants must have strong phone skills, excellent communication and problem solving.

- Clinical background and experience with Power Practice and RecallMax is considered an asset but not required.

- Knowledge and understanding of treatment plans and ability to educate patients is preferred

Monday 9:00-6:00pm
Tuesday 9:00-6:00pm
Wednesday 9:30-6pm
Thursday 8:00-5:00pm
Fridays 7:30am-4:30pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
