Part-Time Health Clinic Admin / Receptionist

Overview:
Busy multidisciplinary clinic in Downtown Vancouver (Burrard and Davie St.) needs part-time, reliable receptionist, 2-4 shifts per week. We offer Chiropractic, Massage Therapy and Physiotherapy services at our clinic (www.mskclinics.com)

We are looking for a long-term, commited candidate who is looking for part-time work during the school year.

Training to start ASAP or by mid-April with a projected start date of May 6, 2024.

Shifts will vary from 4-8 hours but primarily seeking coverage for 2 to 3 days per week for 6 hours from 2 - 8 PM weeknights and 10 AM - 5 PM Saturdays. Additional hours for vacation coverage through the summer will be available. Hours may vary depending on availability and clinic needs. Pay will start at $18 or more based on experience.

Responsibilities:
Check-in and check-out patients, book follow up appointments, electronically bill insurance, prepare receipts, and collect payments. Answer patient questions as able and/or assist patients in having questions answered by appropriate staff; handle all telephone calls. Assist prospective new patients with information on services offered. Schedule all appointments. Perform end of day balancing of credit cards, cash, and cheques. Light cleaning and other duties as assigned. The Admin assistant acts as the first and last point of communication between patients and practitioners.

Qualifications:
Mature, responsible and reliable individual with a willingness to learn. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills as well as a keen attention to detail. Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality when dealing with patients. Ability to work well within a team is essential.
We value individuals who can take initiative, think on their feet, and work efficiently with and without direction/ supervision. All training is provided. A professional manner and the ability to calmly problem-solve are as important to us as your prior experience.
