Job Summary

For the Cariboo Road Recovery Projects and Highway Reinstatement Program, the position provides day to day technical assistance and financial monitoring for a variety of large scale, complex projects throughout the project management life-cycle (i.e. initiation, planning, implementation, control and close-out). The Project Analyst - Restoration Programs is directly accountable for preparing, coordinating, monitoring, and analyzing status data for consistency, and creating detailed summary reports for monthly reporting to executive. Develops and maintains program data bases and archives records for use by Program Leadership.
Provides day to day program administrative support and coaches/trains newer staff in following project management policies, procedures and in use of Project Management systems.
Job Requirements:
• Diploma in a post-secondary program such as Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field plus a minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
• Certificate in a post-secondary program such as Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field plus a minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Related experience must include all the following:
• Experience working in finance and administration.
• Experience in supporting budget development and evaluation.
• Experience analyzing financial data for variances and trends.
• Experience compiling summary reports and conducting basic data analysis.
• Supervisory and team leadership experience.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
• Experience in writing a variety of documents, i.e. briefing materials/reports/communications.
• Experience in the preparation of reports for executive staff.
• Experience working in the transportation field.
• Leadership experience
• Experience working with the Disaster Financial Assistance Arrangement Program

This is a full time position and can be based out of any of the location(s) listed above.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
