About the role

We are looking for a highly capable Project Analyst to provide our project management team with analysis of financial reports. You will report to the Sr. Analyst and be the financial expert of your designated projects. Your duties will include reviewing budgets, preparing progress draws, cashflow forecasting, and reporting on project health analysis. You are great working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with cross functional departments.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing, analyzing, and managing cashflows for development projects
• Preparing and processing progress draws from financing organizations and assembling required documentation for financing and cost consultant draw reports
• Monitoring project expenses and budgets through life cycle of project and producing monthly project cost/profitability reports
• Analyzing data and presenting results and recommendations clearly & concise
• Leading or participating in value added ad hoc projects, including process improvements, implementation, and analysis of KPIs and implementation of technology solutions
• Assisting in monthly WIP adjustments and fiscal year-end preparation

What we’re looking for

• 1-3 years experience in a similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance is required
• CPA designation is an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel level required
• Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility and confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
